Project Description:
This posters project was inspired by the photography department at Harold Washington College. I made a series of posters that show all the classes they have to make it easier for students to see what they offer. Created fun graphics and made my own style to showcase the photography department unique style and bright colors to get people’s attention. Decided to take the description of each class and made it very simple for people to understand what they would be getting by taking these classes or if they would be interested to sign up for those classes.
Indian Heritage Month

Project Description:
These two posters were mainly for Indian Heritage Month at my school Harold Washington College. The first one was for a workshop they were having at the school for Land Acknowledgement. I chose very earthy tones and colors and simple graphics that showcased what the workshop might be about. Also used very easy to read fonts and made bold important parts so everyone can know what to do to find them. The second one was for film screenings to celebrate American Indian Heritage Month. I still used very earthy graphics like flowers and leaves. The colors for this I wanted them to be more vibrant so it would catch people’s attention while walking past it and join to celebrate this month. Both posters were printed and posted all around my school for everyone to see.
Dina Silanteva

This poster was for an exhibition for Dina Silanteva. I chose a very bold yellow background and used a minimalistic shapes. The title resembles her project “ Typographic Music” and it looks like a code or braille. Then I chose a very simple font to people to read the important information. This poster for me shows my creativity, attention to detail and a strong contemporary art influence, and making it pop to draw people’s attention.
The Spring Spill

This poster was a dance concert hosted by Harold Washington College called “ The Spring Spill”. I chose vibrant colors that radiates energy and creativity. The designs feature a spring theme with a green color and floral designs. I made the title in a bubble shaped that attracts attention. Then, paired it with a simple font for the important information like location and time. I liked to used the combination of bold fonts, vivid colors, and whimsical imagery that invites the audience to come an see this dance concert.
